Introduction

Fabric expansion joints are usually used in ducts and pipelines in order to eliminate and damp movements and stresses caused by temperature changes. They can also prevent vibrations to be transmitted. Their working temperature is between -50 to 1400 °C

Different types of incombustible fabric

Single layer incombustible fabric: They have 1 layer accompanied by reinforcement fabric with external covers which are made of different materials like abrasion resistant rubber, silicon, PTFE & etc

Multi layers incombustible fabric: They are made for more than 70 °C working conditions. Their materials change based on type and working conditions of the expansion joint. They are normally made in 3 layers
